I create my artwork using traditional Japanese water-based woodblock printing, the same technique used in ukiyo-e. Woodblock printing is a simple yet deeply expressive medium crafted from natural materials such as wood and washi paper.
Each block is carefully hand-carved, inked with watercolor pigments, and pressed onto paper using a baren. This process imbues each print with its distinctive textures—subtle color layering and the soft, organic brushwork unique to this traditional craft.
